Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Zero to Website ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Zero to Website is an educational platform that provides interactive web development lessons with AI-powered tutoring. The Service includes:

  • Interactive code editor with live preview
  • AI tutor providing hints and guidance
  • Chapter-based curriculum and challenges
  • Progress tracking, achievements, and badges
  • Leaderboard and social features
  • Optional paid tiers (Reader and Founder Edition)

Account Registration

To use Zero to Website, you must create an account using Google or GitHub OAuth authentication. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 13 years of age

Founder Edition Purchase

The Founder Edition is a one-time purchase that grants:

  • Lifetime access to all platform features
  • Unlimited AI hints
  • Exclusive Founder badge
  • Wall of Founders showcase listing
  • Early access to new chapters
  • Enhanced streak freeze allowance

Founder Cap and Automatic Refunds

The Founder Edition is strictly limited to 100 purchases. If the cap is reached during payment processing, we will:

  • Automatically issue a full refund via Stripe
  • Notify you of the capacity overflow
  • Not grant founder access

This is the only scenario in which automatic refunds are issued.

No Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except in the case of the automatic refund described above. By purchasing the Founder Edition, you acknowledge:

  • Digital access is granted immediately upon payment
  • You have reviewed the features and benefits
  • You understand the purchase is non-refundable

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment information.

Intellectual Property

Platform Content

All content on Zero to Website, including lessons, challenges, code examples, and design elements, is owned by VisionWise Solutions and protected by copyright law. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or republish platform content
  • Use content for commercial purposes without permission
  • Remove copyright notices or watermarks

User Content

Content you create on the platform (code submissions, profile information) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Display your content on the platform
  • Use anonymized data for analytics and improvements
  • Showcase your achievements on public pages (leaderboard, Wall of Founders)

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service
  • Submit malicious code or content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Manipulate leaderboards or achievements through cheating

AI Tutor Usage

The AI tutor is designed to provide educational assistance. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses may occasionally contain errors
  • Hints are educational guidance, not guaranteed solutions
  • Daily hint limits apply based on your tier
  • We are not liable for actions taken based on AI suggestions

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • Availability during maintenance windows
  • Preservation of user content in case of technical failures

We recommend backing up important code submissions locally.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Pose a security risk to the platform

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for paid purchases.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisionWise Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Errors or inaccuracies in platform content or AI responses
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or completeness of educational content
  • Uninterrupted or secure access

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where VisionWise Solutions operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
